Paul entered the IT industry in 2001 as a .NET engineer and joined ScienceSoft in 2005 as Lead .NET Developer. Over the years, he held several key leadership positions, including Head of .NET Development, Director of Partnerships & Strategic Sourcing, and Head of Research & Development. Paul managed many high-value enterprise application projects, such as the implementation of a big data solution for a 360-degree customer view and optimized stock management, DevOps for high availability in a 50-server infrastructure, and a CRM system that drives unified CX for a group of companies in retail, hospitality, and ecommerce.
In 2019, Paul headed ScienceSoft’s Project Management Office (PMO), which is a vital function in fulfilling our mission to drive project success despite tight deadlines, budget constraints, shifting needs, or diverse stakeholder expectations. Under Paul’s direction, the PMO has evolved into a high-performing team of over 60 project management professionals. It has become a cornerstone of ScienceSoft’s competitive advantage — delivering not just project administration but proactive, value-driving project management. Establishing efficient collaboration among project participants, keeping quality high throughout all project stages, and constantly growing team productivity are among Paul's top priorities.
The PMO’s achievements under Paul’s leadership are numerous. Beyond day-to-day project management, the team introduced proprietary tools for end-to-end project health monitoring and risk management, built structured knowledge bases that improved estimation accuracy, and formalized PM services for different contract types (T&M, fixed price, etc.) — significantly improving predictability, transparency, and speed of delivery. The PMO also standardized ScienceSoft’s processes for Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies and provided coaching and support that allow PMs to thrive in complex delivery environments. These efforts have directly contributed to the successful delivery of hundreds of complex projects and earned lasting trust from clients.
