Before joining ScienceSoft, Tanya Filippova built a strong foundation in project management, innovation management, economic analysis, and consulting. She played a key role in international business forums on digitalization and was the creator and driving force behind one of the biggest IT startup competitions in Eastern Europe. With over 20 years of experience in leading digital transformation for enterprises across various industries, she has developed a deep understanding of how to turn technology into practical solutions that drive business growth.

After becoming a Business Analyst and Healthcare IT Consultant at ScienceSoft, Tanya began applying her skills in medical IT. She collaborates with healthcare providers, pharmaceutical companies, and medical software vendors to design reliable, innovative EHR/EMR solutions, care coordination platforms, healthcare analytics tools, health tracking applications, and more. Her background in business development and project management allows Tanya to effectively bridge the gap between medical and IT teams. With a profound understanding of how care and business goals must align with software requirements, she designs solutions that cater to the diverse needs of users within healthcare organizations. She also has expertise in creating software that supports patients with additional needs, including geriatric patients and individuals with mental disabilities.

Among Tanya’s many projects, she is most proud of her contribution to the development of an automated analytics platform, which required designing a universal data model that could be used to prepare unique BI reports for multiple healthcare providers. This large-scale solution had to process vast amounts of raw, unstructured data from disparate sources while ensuring interoperability and secure data transmission. Tanya played a key role in defining technical requirements for data ingestion, including data mapping, reference table structuring, and field value standardization. She worked closely with data engineers to make sure that the solution remained scalable and HIPAA-compliant.

Tanya is passionate about learning and exchanging knowledge. She often represents ScienceSoft at international events like HIMSS and MEDICA. She is dedicated to exploring how digital innovations can reduce healthcare costs and improve patient outcomes.
